Terms of Sale WEB-LEG-01 · REV B
Terms of Sale
Effective 2026-07-25. These terms govern purchases from crashcard.co, operated by Claustrum LLC d/b/a Crash Card, a Minnesota limited liability company ("we," "us"). By placing an order, you accept these terms and the Medical Disclaimer, Privacy Policy, Returns & Refunds policy and Shipping Policy below, each of which is incorporated into and forms part of these terms. If you do not accept them, do not order.
Eligibility
By ordering, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that you are purchasing for reference use. Our cards are reference aids and are not a source of medical guidance; nothing on them is a drug, a dose, a device setting or a treatment step. You remain responsible for verifying any information before you rely on it, and for exercising your own judgment within whatever role and training you hold.
Products
We sell physical printed PVC reference badge cards in the CR80 badge format (ISO/IEC 7810 ID-1) — 54 × 85.6 mm, or 2.13 × 3.37 in. They are reference aids — informational products, not medical devices, and not clinical decision support. See the Medical Disclaimer.
We work to keep product descriptions accurate. Product images on this site are rendered from the same print file that drives the printer rather than photographed, so they show the artwork exactly; minor variation in printed colour and finish still occurs between runs.
Pricing and payment
Prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe at checkout; we never see or store your card number. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. We may correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders, with a full refund of anything charged.
Shipping
We ship to US addresses only, and shipping is free. Handling times, delays, and lost-package handling are described in the Shipping Policy.
Returns
Unused cards may be returned within 30 days. Damaged or misprinted cards are replaced free. Full details are in Returns & Refunds.
Intellectual property
The Crash Card name and logo, the card designs, the layouts, the typography, the illustrations, and the selection, arrangement, and presentation of content on every card and on this site are owned by Claustrum LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law.
Buying a card buys you the physical card and the right to use it personally in your own practice. It does not transfer any ownership of, or license in, the underlying design. You may not reproduce, photocopy, scan, redistribute, resell, or create derivative works from any card or its artwork, or use our name or logo, without our prior written permission.
Departments and agencies wanting to reproduce or distribute cards internally should contact us for a bulk or licensing arrangement — we would rather say yes than find a scan in circulation.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT CARD CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR CLINICAL SETTING, PATIENT, OR PROTOCOL. NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HERE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM A PURCHASE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PRODUCTS OR THEIR CLINICAL USE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for personal injury, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Claustrum LLC and its members from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your clinical use of, or reliance on, any card; your failure to verify card content against your own protocols and medical direction; your breach of these terms; or your unauthorized reproduction or distribution of our materials.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, to the extent that limit is enforceable where you live.
General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force and the unenforceable provision is applied as narrowly as needed to make it valid. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business. These terms, together with the policies incorporated above, are the entire agreement between us about your purchase.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version posted at the time you place your order applies to that order. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date on this page.
Medical Disclaimer WEB-LEG-02 · REV B
Medical Disclaimer
Effective 2026-07-25. Read this before clinical use. By purchasing or using a Crash Card product, you accept this disclaimer.
What these cards are
Crash Card products are quick-reference aids intended for trained healthcare professionals. They condense openly published reference material into a badge-sized format so that information a clinician already knows how to use is faster to reach. The card states; you decide.
What these cards are not
- Not medical advice. Nothing on a card is advice, instruction, or a recommendation for any specific patient.
- Not a protocol. A card does not establish, replace, or modify any clinical protocol, order set, or standard of care.
- Not a substitute. A card is never a substitute for clinical judgment, your institution's protocols, medical direction, or the primary literature.
- Not a medical device. These are printed informational products. They are not FDA-regulated medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
- Not clinical decision support. A card displays published reference information. It does not evaluate a patient, does not take patient-specific inputs, and does not recommend an action for any individual.
Every clinical decision remains yours, made on your own independent review of the underlying source.
Accuracy and currency
Card content is condensed from openly published references and is checked against those cited sources before a revision is printed. Each card face carries, in its header, the date its content was last checked, so the exact version you hold is always identifiable.
We make no warranty — express or implied — that any card is accurate, complete, or current. Guidelines change; published contact information changes; errors are possible. A printed card cannot update itself.
Your responsibility
Before applying anything a card states to patient care, you must verify it against your local protocols, your medical direction, and current published guidelines. If a card conflicts with your protocol or with current guidance, the card is wrong for your setting — follow your protocol.
Use of these cards is limited to professionals qualified, licensed, and authorized to act on the information they contain.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Claustrum LLC d/b/a Crash Card, a Minnesota limited liability company, disclaims all liability for clinical decisions, actions, or omissions made in reliance on any card. Our total liability arising from any product is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including injury or patient harm arising from use of card content.
Versions and revisions
Every card carries a date in its header identifying exactly which version you hold. Guidelines change after a card is printed, and a printed card cannot update itself. Check the date on your card against the edition listed on this site, and retire superseded cards rather than leaving them in circulation on a badge reel.
Sources
Card content is condensed from openly published references. Where a card names the source it draws from, that source, not the card, is authoritative; where the two differ, the source governs. Contact numbers and services printed on a card are published by the organizations that operate them, and those organizations — not us — control their own hours, coverage, and availability.
Reporting errors
If you find an error on any card, tell us: support@crashcard.co. Content reports are the highest-priority mail we get, and confirmed errors are corrected in the next revision.
Privacy WEB-LEG-03 · REV B
Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-07-25. This policy describes what Claustrum LLC d/b/a Crash Card ("we," "us") collects at crashcard.co and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what an order requires, and nothing else.
What the site loads
Nothing off this domain. Every stylesheet, script, font and image is served from crashcard.co. There is no analytics product, no beacon, no advertising pixel, no tag manager, no embedded video, no social widget and no third-party script of any kind. The site sets no cookies.
None of that is a promise you have to take on faith: the Content-Security-Policy header on every response restricts scripts, styles, fonts and images to this origin, so you can read it with your browser's network panel or with curl -I https://crashcard.co and check.
What we collect
- Order and contact information. When you check out, Stripe collects your name, email, shipping address and payment details on our behalf. We receive the order details and the contact information we need to fulfill and support your order.
- Your cart. Your cart lives in your own browser's localStorage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us unless you start checkout.
- Email you send us. If you write to support, we have your message and your address until we no longer need them.
What we do not collect
- No accounts, no passwords, no profiles. There is nothing to log in to.
- No payment card numbers ever reach our servers. Stripe processes payment; see Stripe's privacy policy for how it handles your data.
- No advertising networks, no tracking cookies, no cross-site identifiers, no per-visitor analytics.
- No mailing list. We do not operate one, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
- No sale of your data, ever. We also do not rent, trade, or share it for marketing.
Infrastructure
The site is served through Cloudflare, and payments run through Stripe. Like any host and any payment processor, each of them handles the network request needed to do its job, under its own privacy terms. We do not run an analytics service on top of that, and we do not receive per-visitor reports about you from either one.
How we use your information
To process orders, ship products, handle returns, and answer support requests. We email you about your order — confirmation, shipping, and support — and about nothing else.
Retention
We keep order records as long as we need them for support, returns, tax, and accounting obligations. We do not keep data longer than we have a reason to.
Deletion and access requests
Email support@crashcard.co to request access to or deletion of your personal information. We will respond and honor the request except where the law requires us to retain a record — tax records of completed sales, for example.
Children
The site and the products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we ever add anything that collects data — an analytics service, an advertising pixel, a mailing list — this page changes first, and the effective date above changes with it.
Returns and refunds WEB-LEG-04 · REV B
Returns & Refunds
Effective 2026-07-25. The card has to earn its spot on your badge reel. If it does not, here is how a return works at crashcard.co, operated by Claustrum LLC d/b/a Crash Card.
30-day returns
You may return unused cards within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price. "Unused" means the card is in the condition it arrived in — not punched, clipped, laminated over, or visibly worn.
How to start a return
Email support@crashcard.co with your order number and how many cards you are sending back. We reply with the return address and instructions. Do not ship a return before contacting us. Once we receive and inspect the return, we issue the refund.
Refunds
Refunds go back to your original payment method through Stripe. Stripe typically posts a refund within 5–10 business days of issue, depending on your bank. We email you when the refund is issued.
Damaged or misprinted cards
If a card arrives damaged, misprinted, or otherwise defective, we replace it free — no return shipping, no charge, no return required. Email support@crashcard.co with your order number and a photo of the problem.
Return shipping
You pay return shipping unless the return is our error — a damaged, misprinted, or wrong item. In that case we cover it, or we simply send a replacement and ask for nothing back.
Exchanges
There is no separate exchange process. A defect is a free replacement; anything else is a return for a refund, and you can order again whenever you want.
Lost or undelivered packages
If tracking shows no movement, or your order has not arrived in a reasonable time, email support@crashcard.co with your order number. We will trace it and, if it is lost, replace it or refund you.
Shipping WEB-LEG-05 · REV B
Shipping Policy
Effective 2026-07-25. How orders from crashcard.co, operated by Claustrum LLC d/b/a Crash Card, get to you.
Where we ship
We ship to addresses in the United States only, including APO/FPO/DPO addresses. We do not ship internationally. Some carriers do not deliver to a PO box, so a street address is preferred.
Cost
Shipping is free on every order. There is no minimum and no surcharge at checkout.
Handling and delivery time
Cards are printed, packed and posted in Minnesota, in our own shop. We ship within one week of your order.
If we cannot ship within that week, we will email you with a new expected date and you may wait or cancel for a full refund. If we do not hear back from you, we will cancel and refund the order rather than hold it indefinitely. In no case do we hold an order longer than 30 days without your agreement.
Once a package leaves us, US mail delivery typically takes several business days depending on distance. Transit time is the carrier's and is not guaranteed.
Tracking
You will receive a shipping-confirmation email with tracking when your order leaves. Tracking can take a day to begin showing movement after the label is created; that gap is normal and is not a sign of a problem.
Address accuracy
We ship to the address you enter at checkout. Check it before you submit. If you catch a mistake, email support@crashcard.co immediately — if the order has not shipped, we will fix it. If a package comes back to us as undeliverable because of an incorrect address, we will reship it once at no charge.
Delays outside our control
Weather, carrier backlogs and holiday volume can delay a package after it leaves us. We will help you trace anything that stalls, but we do not control carrier transit times.
Lost, stolen, or damaged in transit
If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, or your order has not arrived in a reasonable time, email support@crashcard.co with your order number. We will trace it and either replace it or refund you. If a card arrives damaged, we replace it free — see Returns & Refunds.
Taxes
Applicable sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout. There are no customs fees or duties, because we ship domestically only.
